Coordinator of Learning Support Services
Wells College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Learning Support Services. The Coordinator will report to and work directly with the Associate Dean/Director of Academic Advising, coordinating a wide range of learning support services for all students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: develop and conduct workshops for students, faculty and staff in relationship to learning strategies, pedagogy and learning styles; coordinate the disability disclosure and accommodations process and work directly with students w/ disabilities; develop and supervise ESL instruction and services; with the Director Academic Advising, create systems and strategies for intervention and support for students at academic risk; work with academic advisors, student life staff and other departments to assist them in supporting learning goals; assess campus learning programs and services. Successful candidate will have a masters degree in special education, education, counseling, or related field, 3-5 years experience directly working with college students and college administration, proven ability to assess programming and services, excellent communication and computer skills. Experience working with high school students with disabilities also an asset.
